It’s the Saw franchise’s 20th anniversary on October 29th 2024, and Lionsgate have decided to mark the impressive milestone with a brand-new Blu-ray set.
Whilst not releasing on the actual anniversary date, fans can get their hands on this whole-franchise set on March 5th 2024.
As per Lionsgate:
“All 10 films from the most successful horror franchise in movie history – including the latest chapter, SAW X – are collected here in one terrifying set. Rewind to the beginning, when Jigsaw first springs his diabolically ingenious traps on the morally wayward, then travel his long road of pain all the way to Mexico in the newest entry’s untold story of John Kramer’s quest for a cancer cure, inspiring his most personal game yet.”
The hyping up of latest addition Saw X is hardly surprising, as the most recent tenth entry has revitalized the franchise completely. Earning praise for its sharp writing and focus on character development, Saw X would see the franchise once again earning over $100 million at the box-office, following the failure of 2021’s Spiral.
The current price listed for the ten-film collection is a rather steep $79.99. However, it is well known that pre-order prices always decrease as the time of release nears.
Soon, there will undoubtedly be a new full-movie collection in stores, as Saw XI is currently in pre-production, expected to release this fall.
So, will you be ringing in 20 years of Saw with this impressive set? It looks like a must-have for any Saw fan.
